THE FINAL BATTLE
If you haven't read the last few books yet, do not read this. It spoils the end!
First I will tell a little bit about the lead up to the final battle.
In the lead up to the end, the Animorphs had, had to evacuate their families to the free Hork - Bajir valley. They all reached their safely (even Tobias' mum whom he located), but Jake's parents who were taken by the Yeerks thanks to the Yeerk in Tom's head.
In the Hork-Bajir valley they finally got their parents to understand what was happening. They also recruited more Animorphs and lost the morphing cube to Tom. This was a major loss because now the Yeerks had the Animorphs major advantage and they used it!
