CASSIE - NADIA NASCIMENTO
None of the Animorphs would have guessed that one day they would be morphing animals and fighting aliens. If they could have, maybe they would’ve prepared themselves by getting used to our furry and feathered friends (on top of cleaning up on their strategic defence tactics, of course).
Thankfully, one Animorph did have a head start in the animal department — and that's our farm–raised and creature–loving Cassie. But what about Nadia Nascimento who plays Cassie on Animorphs TV? Was she prepared to be bonding with the beasts?
Not exactly. But Nadia IS an adventurer and likes the idea of getting close and personal with exotic animals lion and tigers. The weird thing is, she’s dislikes about one of the less exotic Animorphs’ animals — the horse. While she admits she’s "infatuated" with Bongo, she gets the shakes when she's around Foxfire. She was once thrown from a horse and has been afraid of them ever since. It's a good thing Cassie morphs INTO a horse, instead of riding on one!
Nadia has been in Outer Limits, Circle of Deceit, Two, Generation X and The Total Package. She's also spent a lot of time on stage in plays as like The Dining Room, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Butterflies are Free, to name only a few! Artistic and athletic, Nadia likes downhill and cross-country skiing, baseball, field hockey, painting, drawing, hip-hop and traditional Africa dance and photography. She also knows how to play piano and guitar and speak Sign language.
