RACHEL - BROOKE NEVIN
Xena, Warrior Princess, is one of Rachel's nickname and why wouldn't it be when no matter how dangerous the situation is, she's always the very first to say "I'm in!" Not many people would have the same attitude if they were battling aliens! Well, Brooke Nevin doesn't exactly have a similar experience to compare battling aliens to, but she knows what being brave is all about. Try competing against hundreds of hopefuls for the part of Rachel on Animorphs TV. That's pretty scary! But she did it, and she won!
Acting may not be as dangerous as an alien invasion, but it keeps Brooke busy. She can relate with the Animorphs' struggle to balance their two lives, fighting aliens and being a regular kid. Brooke finds it hard to find time to do the things she loves, like skiing, rollerblading, and listening to music. She's not quite like Rachel when it comes to fashion, but she does like to shop with her friends for comfy, casual clothes. We all know that Rachel's got a soft spot for Tobias, but Brooke says she just doesn't have time for boyfriends right now. She reckons she's got her hands full with filming, going to school, and spending time off with friends.
The T.V. shows Brooke has done includes Real Kids—Real Adventures, Running Wild and Goosebumps' A Shocker on Shock Street. She was also in the feature film Short for Nothing. Brooke won numerous public speaking awards and acted in many commercials. When she's not busy fighting the Yeerks on Animorphs, this multi-talented girl loves to sing, dance, ski and play the piano.
