CASSIE
Cassie is the group's animal expert. She has a quiet, peaceful, caring, compassionate personality and is the Animorph's peacemaker, always avoiding fights and breaking them up. She is also the type of person who can work out what people think and feel. To go with all of this she is very focused, levelheaded and responsible. Her attitude most of the time is 'You've gotta do what you've gotta do.' She is also very loyal to people and wise. She is black so she is strong to in her own way having to put up with racist comments etc.
Her nicknames are 'Earth Mother' and 'tree hugger' or Marco's version, 'tree hugger animal nut.' Her trademark is the fact that she is the best morpher in the group. When she morphs she does it almost artistically and it often looks a lot nicer instead of plain gross. She also can control the morph and sometimes she does something like morphs from osprey (her bird of prey morph) and leaves the wings to the end. Because of this ability she is often the first to try a new morph.
Cassie's battle morph is a wolf. Her favourite is a horse because of the running. She also enjoys the dolphin because of the complete and utter happiness. Like the others she does not particularly enjoy ant, termite, fly and cockroach. In cockroach she got driven over by a tank and sprayed at (along with the others) and in termite morph she bit off the Queen's head.
She lives on a farm with her Dad, Walter, who's the farm's vet (explain later) and her Mum, Michelle, who's a vet at The Gardens which is a mix of a zoo and an amusement park. The Gardens is where the Animorphs acquire most of their battle morphs and their bird morphs. The others are acquired from Cassie's barn which is otherwise known as 'The Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic' which is were her Dad works. This is also the regular meeting place for the Animorphs. They have alot of injured animals there constantly and they also own some horses and other animals.
Somehow Cassie manages to work at the clinic (she works there a lot taking care of the animals and cleaning the barn or the animal cages), maintain a good grade at school and be an Animorph. She also has time to hang out with her friends.
Her best friend is Rachel and her boyfriend is Jake, the leader of the Animorphs. She and Rachel continually debate over the state of Cassie's wardrobe. Cassie admits that she sometimes have bird poop on her clothes and some of them are a little too small. Whenever Rachel gets a chance she drags Cassie to the mall and gets her new clothes but it is not often that, that happens. Jake often goes to Cassie for help and advice on the others. Jake and Cassie have been to a few dances together and have actually kissed a few times.
Her goal in life is to become a zoo vet. She would also like world peace.
